It was May 16, 2011, and 4 weeks before our dream wedding day. My fiance Shayne and Ihad just moved into our first home 2 weeks prior. As we were busy finalizing some wedding plans and finishing up painting our new home, all of our plans changed. It was that day that a wildfire blew into our little town of Slave Lake, taking over 300 homes that were in its path. Unfortunately our home was one of those lost, along with what we thought was going to be our perfect wedding. Needless to say we were devastated, emotionally and physically exhausted. We talked of postponing the wedding or just eloping, neither option appealing to either of us. To say we felt lost would be an understatement.

But a little ray of sunshine came into our lives when my sister in law Dawn called to tell us she had a friend who was a wedding planner, and she wanted to take on our wedding day! And that’s when Cheri entered our lives! I have never met someone so determined to make two strangers wedding day perfect. And she did just that! With multiple emails and phone calls and only meeting in person once, Cheri took what my dream day looked like in my mind and brought it to life. She took hours out of her busy life and with only 3 weeks planned a wedding that would have taken us months to plan. Not only did she do all of this out of the goodness of her heart, but she also contact numerous individuals who in turn also helped out to make our day that much more special. Every fine detail was taken care of and in the end our wedding was more than we ever imagined.

We will forever be grateful to Cheri for all that she did for us in a time of loss and devastation. It was her hard work, amazing organizational skills, and pure dedication that brought beauty from the ashes.

Cheri was the Month-Of Coordinator for my October 23rd, 2010 wedding in Saskatoon, SK. Not only did Cheri come to Saskatoon from Edmonton out of the goodness of her heart to help my husband and I out, she did a phenomenal job from start to finish.

Cheri kept on top of all of our details from the time of initial booking and didn’t miss a beat. Even being a Wedding Planner myself, she thought of things to ask me that I hadn’t even thought of yet and was always one step ahead.

It was very stress-relieving to know that Cheri was there for us taking notes at our rehearsal, helping with the decorating the night before the wedding, and doing everything we needed her to on our big day. It was so nice to be able to hang up my Wedding Planner hat for the day of my wedding and get to be a Bride. Our entire wedding day was perfect in our eyes, and we have Cheri to thank for helping us to ensure a smooth flowing day.

I give Cheri my 100% recommendation to anyone looking to hire a Wedding Planner. She is detail oriented, professional, organized, and incredibly kind. Cheri is definitely in the right industry for her skills and passion!

I got married August 25th 2007 and without Cheri I truly think that my wedding wouldn’t have been nearly as wonderful as it was! She came from a province away but still managed to take care of everything from making sure the reception area was perfect (table settings, seating charts, name cards, centre pieces etc etc.) to making sure we had speakers at our outdoor ceremony so that everyone could hear our vows.
